As Chief Experience and Innovation Officer at Tivity Health, Stacey Santo is responsible for all customer and innovation initiatives, digital product and service offerings, and the company’s data-driven marketing strategies, platforms and programs. With a wealth of experience in strategic marketing and consumer engagement, Santo is passionate about combining data insights and creativity to create deeper and more relevant connections.
Prior to joining Tivity Health, Santo served as Executive Vice President of Global Digital Strategy, Consumer Engagement and Digital Marketing for ASICS Digital (formerly RunKeeper) connecting commerce, fitness services and digital consumer marketing globally for ASICS. Driven to create new services and products that change consumer behavior, she has been on leadership teams of four successful digital start-ups including Rue La La and RunKeeper.
Santo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Boston University.
As Chief Information Officer of Tivity Health, Sarah Richardson is responsible for the company’s digital transformation, including the development of the engagement platform, customer relationship management tools and data strategy. Richardson is a transformative, innovative, and results-driven healthcare and technology executive with experience in large-scale healthcare environments. Through comprehensive, human centered design, she enables digital and organizational transformation of multiple organizational domains utilizing proven methods of engagement resulting in improved experiences across the continuum.
Prior to joining Tivity Health, Richardson served as Vice President of IT Change Leadership for OptumCare. Richardson also has significant health system experience, serving as CIO of NCH Healthcare System in Naples, FL and as a Division CIO with HCA Healthcare.
Richardson is an active member of CHIME as a Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO), board and faculty member, and fellow. She regularly publishes industry relevant content on her website at www.conciergeleadership.com. She is an Associate Certified Coach with the ICF and Distinguished Toastmaster, as well as the chair for members in transition for the SoCal Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SCSIM). Richardson holds a BS from the University of Nevada -Las Vegas, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
As Vice President of People & Culture, Bonnie Schirato is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, including corporate culture, talent acquisition and management, professional development and benefits. Schirato joined Tivity Health in 2016, bringing more than 30 years of HR experience, including 20 years in healthcare organizations. Prior to joining Tivity Health, she served as Chief People Officer with Aptus Health and as Vice President of Human Resources with Allscripts Healthcare Solutions.
Schirato serves on the board of Health eVillages, a non-profit organization that empowers healthcare providers to improve global health and well-being through the delivery of mobile technology and community-focused solutions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and both Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) and Global Professional Human Resources (GPHR) certification.
Serving as Chief Operating Officer since 2019, Tommy Lewis is responsible for commercial operations for the core healthcare business. This encompasses full P&L responsibilities and the functions of client relations, fitness strategy and delivery, client and member success. For most of 2020, Lewis served as President of the Nutrition Division, which encompassed the Nutrisystem®, South Beach Diet® and Wisely Well™ brands. Lewis and his team returned Nutrisystem to new customer growth for the first time in three years; modernized the brand; and transformed the marketing operations enabling a successful sale [of Nutrisystem by Tivity Health] in December 2020.
Lewis joined Tivity Health in 2018 and was previously the Chief Transformation Officer and Chief of Staff to the CEO. Lewis has a successful track record of leading enterprise initiatives, operations, customer experience, marketing and communications for healthcare organizations, and was instrumental in the integration efforts following the acquisition of Nutrisystem by Tivity Health in March 2019.
Prior to joining Tivity Health, he served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Change Healthcare. He has also held leadership positions focused on technology, customer experience, marketing and growth initiatives. Lewis is a member of the 2020 Nashville Health Care Fellows class. In 2018, Lewis was named HIMSS National Chapter Leader of the Year. In 2017, he earned the Investor Relations Charter (IRC®) credential awarded by the Certification Council of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), and in 2016 he was awarded the Spirit of the Chamber award for the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.
Lewis holds a BS in Computer Information Systems and an MBA in Finance.
As Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, Ray Bilbao has responsibility for legal, information security, data privacy and compliance. Bilbao joined Tivity Health in 2018 as Deputy General Counsel and assumed the role of Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel in March of 2020. Billbao assumed the role of Chief legal Officer and Corporate Secretary in December 2020.
Bilbao’s career spans more than 28 years having served in executive legal and business roles for both public and private companies. Before joining Tivity Health, Bilbao served as Associate General Counsel for Gibson Brands, Inc., Director & Sr. Counsel – Marketing, IP and Contracts for ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc., General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer for Giftcards.com and President, Chief Operating Officer and Secretary for Remote Dynamics, Inc.
Bilbao earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Texas Christian University and his Juris Doctor degree from Saint Mary’s University School of Law.
Morrison has nearly 25 years of experience leading large-scale transformational business and technology initiatives in the wellness, healthcare and telecom industries. Prior to Tivity Health, Morrison served in a variety of technology, program leadership, and business development roles as an executive with consulting firms Accenture and North Highland.
Morrison holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Tennessee.
As Senior Vice President of Fitness Operations, Caroline Khalil leads the Fitness Strategy & Delivery, Networks, and Marketing Execution teams, responsible for delivering SilverSneakers and Prime. Khalil joined Tivity Health in 2011, bringing over 15 years of leadership, operations management and contract negotiation experience in fitness, Medicare and commercial healthcare.
She has a proven track-record of leading teams, strategic partnerships, provider networks, and population health solutions to improve revenue growth, client satisfaction and operational management.
Khalil holds two BA in Communication and Spanish Language from University of Buffalo and a M.S. Ed. from SUNY – Brockport.
A seasoned healthcare industry professional, Jessica is known for her strategic and disciplined approach to advancing business priorities and growth. Jessica has been with Tivity Health for over 18 years, holding a variety of leadership positions throughout her tenure with the organization. Prior to Tivity Health, Jessica served in public health roles at American Cancer Society and the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Jessica earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and a Masters of Public Health from Emory University. She is an active member of Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry.
As Chief Product and Innovation Officer, David Bartley is responsible for developing partnerships and products focused on empowering adults to improve their health through nutrition, fitness and social connection. Bartley joined Tivity Health in 2018, bringing over 15 years of experience in healthcare intrapreneurship in market solutions ranging from consumer engagement to payer-based analytics.
Prior to joining Tivity Health, David served in product leadership positions with leading healthcare companies such as Cotivi (formerly Verisk Health), eviCore, Healthways and Humana’s Innovation Center.
Bartley holds a BA in Economics from UNC Chapel Hill and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing and Strategy from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.
Richard Ashworth joined Tivity Health as President and CEO, and as a member of the Board of Directors, in June 2020. Previously, Ashworth facilitated the growth of Walgreens for nearly 30 years, transforming the company into a global leader in pharmacy and health and wellness. He started at Walgreens as a store clerk in 1992, and most recently led as President, responsible for developing the strategies and plans for all Walgreens operations including leadership, development and management of the business.
Ashworth has spent his career focused on improving the health and well-being of others, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of customers and members. His experience includes navigating a rapidly changing healthcare landscape while serving a portfolio of large customers and individual consumers in the intensely competitive retail realm. Ashworth is an influential voice in public health policy and the future of healthcare and has shared his views at the White House and on Capitol Hill. He also served on the NACDS board for the last four years, formerly as Chairman.
Ashworth earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) and a master’s degree in business administration.
As Chief Accounting Officer, Ryan Wagers is responsible for all accounting functions including external reporting as well as tax, treasury, and audit. Wagers joined Tivity Health in 2018, bringing over 15 years of experience and a record of delivering operational and financial results in an ever-changing corporate, global market and technological landscape.
Prior to joining Tivity Health, he held leadership positions at Sitel Worldwide Corporation where he led a team of over 160 people across 17 countries. He also previously served as Audit Manager with Deloitte LLP and Senior Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
Wagers holds a Master of Accountancy from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Adam Holland is responsible for all corporate financial functions including planning and analysis, forecasting and budgeting, external reporting, enterprise risk management as well as strategic initiatives and procurement. Holland joined Tivity Health as CFO in 2017.
Holland has served in a variety of executive financial roles throughout his career, including a 12-year tenure at retailer Kirkland’s, Inc., where he became Chief Financial Officer in 2015. Holland also spent three years earlier in his career as a senior auditor with Ernst & Young, LLP.
Holland holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
As Chief Legal & Administrative Officer, Mary S. Flipse has responsibility for the legal and contracting functions, as well as human resources, government relations and corporate communications. Flipse joined Tivity Health, Inc in 2011 and assumed the role of General Counsel and Assistant Secretary in 2012. She became Chief Legal Officer in 2015.
Mary’s legal career spans more than twenty years. Before joining Tivity Health, Inc, Mary served as a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel with King Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Prior to that, she was with the American law firm, White & Case, in Bangkok Thailand. Mary began her legal career as the founding partner of Dirksen Flipse Doran & Le, the first international law offices in Laos and Cambodia.
Mary earned a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC, and a Bachelor of Arts from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
