Micah Roberts is a Partner at Public Opinion Strategies, a national political and public affairs research firm. Described by The New York Times as “the leading Republican polling company” in the country, Public Opinion Strategies’ political clients include twelve U.S. Senators, 59 members of Congress, seven Governors, and numerous State Legislators and local elected officials across the country.
Since January 2010, Micah has managed The Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll and is the Republican half of the bi-partisan team that conducts polling on economic trends for CNBC. Micah frequently appears on cable news shows to discuss the findings from these polls.
Micah is a RIVA-trained focus group moderator and has conducted dozens of qualitative studies testing television programs, talent, and commercials (including some that have aired during the Super Bowl), and messaging on a wide range of issues.
Micah has deep experience on state and national policy initiatives on behalf of the firm’s Fortune 500 clientele and the industry associations who represent them in Washington, DC. His clients include the National Association of REALTORS®, the American Beverage Association, the National Restaurant Association, the International Franchise Association, the National Confectioners Association, and CTIA – The Wireless Association, among others.
In addition to his public affairs work, Micah has experience conducting political research, including five successful ballot initiatives. He has also conducted extensive research in dozens of congressional and senatorial campaigns across the country.
Prior to joining Public Opinion Strategies, Micah built and analyzed online job analysis surveys for a psychometric firm in Dunedin, Florida. Micah lives in Jacksonville, Florida with his wife and two young son.
